Dr. Kat -

Prior to attending her Doctorate education at New York Chiropractic College in upstate New York in January, 2016; Dr. Kathleen Blaine had a license in Massage Therapy & her Bachelors Degree in Biology.

She completed her chiropractic education in April, 2019, with a focus on making her patients feel at-home & cared for from day one.

She incorporates her massage therapy & chiropractic backgrounds into her care plans to ensure every person is treated as a whole.

During Chiropractic School -

During her clinicals, Dr. Kat was very involved in her home-clinic... She even became the Senior Clerk during her last stage of clinic.

She frequently tutored others & even created & presented case studies & interest topics to students in lower trimesters. Her love for knowledge sharing & educating real-world topics are part of the reason her patient care plans involve education as a cornerstone of treatment.

Dr. Kat was particularly involved in the Veterans Affairs Hospitals & Monroe Community Hospital (a community living hospital for the physically & mentally disabled).

Veterans Affairs :

Dr. Kat had weekly rotations at the Bath, NY VA-Center, & even applied for & received the honor of a remote clerkship at the Pittsburgh, PA VA-Hospital to complete her clinicals before graduating.

The Pittsburgh VA was particularly insightful due to the plethora of collaboration opportunities with various departments including; orthopedics, pain clinic, podiatry, neurosurgery, nursing, & surgical staff.

Dr. Kat even had many Surgical Observations including; Lumbar Facet / Medial Branch Block Injections, Arthroscopic Rotator Cuff Repair, Total Knee Replacements, Occipital Nerve Block Injection, & Diabetic Neuropathy and Osteomyelitis Related Digit Amputations & Forefoot Reconstructions...

So not only can Dr. Kat help to prevent surgery, but she also has first hand knowledge of what these surgeries & procedures entail to better prepare your body for them should you need to have them done.

Monroe Community Hospital :

Dr. Kat was the lead student doctor, assisting the other students on their transient rotations & managerial duties in the clinic.

At graduation, Dr. Kat received an award for her role within her individual health center.
